Looking at the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, he reminds us that even faithful people experience “home hurts,” yet God never stops hearing our prayers or working through our suffering. Ultimately, we are pointed to Jesus, who entered our hurt, carried our burdens to the cross, and conquered sin, death, and every hurt so that we might share in His victory and hope.
