Summer of pSalms Reading Plan

Read the Psalms with us all Summer long!

How Many Psalms Can You memorize?

That's right! We are challenging you to memorize a Psalm! Whether it is only one or more than one, we want to push you to memorize scripture in and store it in your heart! We have a board with this image at church for you to mark which Psalms you have memorized!

Devotions on the Psalms: Israel’s Songbook

In the midst of the 2020 lockdowns, Christ Lutheran Church & School began a powerful devotional series: Devotions on the Psalms: Israel’s Songbook. Led by Pastor Eric Clausen, Pastor Pat Hauser (now retired), and Pastor Bill Brunold, this series took our community through all 150 Psalms, one devotion at a time.

Each short video reflects on a Psalm with heart, care, and depth—offering peace, encouragement, and biblical wisdom during a time of global uncertainty. While some references are rooted in the context of 2020–2021, the timeless truths of God’s Word still shine through and speak powerfully to our lives today. ✝️

Whether you followed the journey back then or are just discovering it now, we invite you to revisit Israel’s Songbook and be refreshed in God’s promises all over again.

EveryPsalm

EveryPsalm, a ministry of Poor Bishop Hooper (Jesse & Leah Roberts), set out on a remarkable journey: starting in early January 2020, they released one meditative song per week, covering all 150 Psalms over nearly three years.

Each song is freely available to listen, download, or stream—ideal for integrating Scripture into daily routines and devotional practices.

The project includes more than just music. With original copper-etching artwork organized around the Psalms' main themes—Praise, Lament, Thanksgiving, Confidence, Kingship, Remembrance, and Wisdom—it also offers a rich Psalter book featuring lyrics, chord charts, and motifs for those wanting to sing along.

Whether you wish to deepen your personal devotions, play Scripture-based music in small groups, or simply enjoy the Psalter in song, EveryPsalm offers a creative and soulful companion. Dive in here: https://www.everypsalm.com/
